And now for something a little different!!!
A question that our clients ask us all the time is “where should we have our engagement session?” Our answer is always pretty much the same: “We want this session to be as much about YOU GUYS as possible and reflect as much of your personalities and your relationship as we can. So, before asking us where we shoot, you guys should ask yourselves whether there is anywhere that is special to YOU!” 99 times out of 100, our clients say that they have absolutely no idea what location(s) are special to them and would represent their relationship. That is absolutely fine and we are totally happy to give our clients recommendations and guidance on locations if they can’t think of anything.
Every great, great once in a while, we have clients who immediately know what locations are special to them as a couple. Annalisa + Will were one of those couples! They said that they absolutely love, love, love Bottega Louie and Perch in Los Angeles.
We will be honest, when we heard Bottega Louie and Perch, our first thought was “yeah… those are some high end locations in the heart of Los Angeles and they are almost definitely not going to let us shoot there.” BUT! That was just us falling for one of the classic blunders! Never underestimate locations’ willingness to make exceptions for young couples who are getting married! A few phone calls and emails later and Loretta was all set to shoot Annalisa + Will’s engagement session at Bottega Louie and The Perch! We think that Loretta did a fantastic job and we hope you enjoy Annalisa + Will’s engagement session as much as we do! 🙂
